Join us for the “Unearth a Story” Summer Reading Club! The club will run from Monday, June 29th to Friday, August 15th! See details below for each age group.

Children (Ages Birth- entering Grade 6)
Beginning Monday, June 29th, register and enter your books online. Read and log your books online to earn points. Come to the library once you hit 100, 400, 700 and 1,000 points to receive a prize. To complete the club, you must earn 1,000 points. The last day to log books will be Saturday, August 15.
Children’s Prizes include:
- Sensory Wiggle Dinosaur (100 Points)
- Dinosaur Windmill (400 Points)
- Light Up Dancing Dinosaur (700 Points)
- Dinosaur Plush (1000 Points)
Hit 500 points by July 18th to be entered into a raffle to win tickets to White Post Farms and see their dinosaur exhibit.
Teens (Entering grades 6-12)
The Teen Summer Reading Club is back! Beginning Monday, June 29th, you can register online and win prizes by reading! The 2026 Teen Summer Reading Club is online only and will run from June 29th – August 15th! Raffle prize winners will be pulled weekly and a grand prize raffle pulled at the end of the club!
In addition to the raffles, you can earn points to win a weekly prize! Prizes include:
- Fidget spinner (0 points/sign up prize)
- Dino game (200 points)
- Squeezie duck (400 points)
- Tech decks (600 points)
- Play dough (800 points)
- Beaded keychain (1000)

Adults
Read to win! Sign up for our Summer Reading Club beginning on Monday, June 29th! Submit reviews online between June 29th and August 15th to be entered into weekly prize drawings, with a Grand Prize drawing on Monday, August 17th!
The Adult Summer Reading Club prizes include:

Summer Library Tour
It’s back! The Summer Library Tour runs from July 1st through August 31st. With your free Suffolk Summer Tour booklet, you’ll visit public libraries all around Suffolk County this summer. While you visit, be sure to find that library’s Prehistoric Creature poster & place one corresponding sticker in the provided space. Then, locate their Stamp Station to receive a stamp and a collectable Prehistoric Creature trading card! At 5, 15, and 25 library visits you will be entered into the Tour raffle for a chance to win the prizes below. At your 25th library you will earn the official title of Summer Tour Library-saurus and receive a special commemorative patch (while supplies last)! Stop by the Adult or Children’s Reference Desk to receive your booklet beginning July 1st, 2026!
The raffle prizes are as follows:
- 5 library visits = chance to win a $50 Barnes & Noble gift card
- 15 library visits = chance to win a $100 Barnes & Noble gift card
- 25 library visits = chance to win a $250 Barnes & Noble gift card
