Would you like to keep track of the books you’ve checked out of the library and read?
The Deer Park Public Library offers a feature called “MY READING HISTORY” which allows you to do just that!
To access this ability:
- Click on Your Library Account from the home page of the Deer Park Public Library website.
- Enter your barcode and password. (If you do not already have a password, you will be prompted to create one. Please remember it.)
- Once you are logged in to your account, click on the “Reading History” link.
- Click on the “Opt In” button. Once the link is enabled, the next time something is checked out to you, it will appear when you log in to View Your Patron Record.
Please note:
- You can delete individual items from your reading history (however if you do the history is lost and cannot be retrieved).
- This is not a retrospective list – it starts compiling your reading history when enabled (ie. previously checked out books will not appear).
- Only you have access to this feature. Library staff cannot see this record.
