The following novel focuses on a teenage girl named Alexis Riggs. She was recently traumatized by her brother’s suicide, and is also dealing with her parents’ divorce. Her personal diary entries help tell her story, explaining how her life has fallen apart. She is no longer in a relationship with her boyfriend, Steve. She has also distanced herself from her friends. Soon, she begins to feel the presence of her late brother around her. This drives her to find out the details about the reason for his suicide- revealed in a text message her brother sent her before his death. My favorite character is Alexis because she really showed affection and care for her brother, as the older sister. I would rate this book a 10 out of 10, and recommend it to to friends because it was a very intriguing and emotional novel.
